Strengths

When selecting the appropriate strength for a project, we work with our customers to ensure the concrete meets the exact strength specifications that is long lasting and maintenance free.

Each concrete application requires different levels of strength, we take into account a number of factors including:

  • Climate
  • Exposure to dampness
  • Foot and vehicle traffic
  • Indoor/outdoor/underground

We offer concrete in strengths ranging from 20 MPa to 35 MPa, supplying concrete suitable for projects in all sectors Agriculture, Commercial, Residential and Industrial. We can supply you concrete for your:

  • Driveways
  • Industrial Site Pads
  • Garage Slabs
  • Residential Sidewalks
  • Bin Pads
  • Commercial Building Foundations

Additives

Concrete additives are added to the mixture of water cement and aggregate in small quantities to increase the durability, quality, life expectancy and to control the setting and aesthetic appeal of the concrete.

Master Set DELVO

Formulated to extend the setting time, used for travelling long distances and on hot days while improving concrete quality

Accelerators (HE 122 + Calcium Chloride)

The addition of an accelerator speeds the setting time and strength development, creating a more uniform and predictable quality concrete. Accelerators are primarily used in cold weather to encourage earlier finishing and reduced risk of frost damage

FiberMesh

Synthetic fibers added to help prevent early age cracking, reduces water migration, increases impact and helps with additional strength when pouring thin slabs.

High Range Water Reducers (Super Plasticizers)

Super Plasticizers are admixtures for concrete, to ease the finishing and flow ability needed without changing the chemical makeup of concrete. Super Plasticizers increase the slump of concrete without adding water and not compromising the concrete mixture. Adding water to concrete will change the strength and may cause problems after the concrete is cured.

Bonding Agents

Designed to adhere between new and old concrete, bonding agents act as a “glue” when pouring fresh concrete on top of cured concrete.

Exposed Aggregate

An Exposed Aggregate surface is obtained by placing concrete using round pea gravel and washing away the top layer to uncover the exposed stones. The surface is typically finished with a high gloss seal.

Exposed Aggregate is primarily used for aesthetics and decorative purposes. It’s durability ad’s a personal touch to your property. Like any concrete, it must be sealed to maintain strength and it’s visual appeal.
